Post Natal Yoga


Helping you to feel your bodies to be your own again in a new way after pregnancy 

Babies join mums for post natal yoga ( this course is mainly yoga for mums but we keep the babies involved and entertained!). Mondays in Guisborough 1-2.30pm. Blocks of 4 weeks.

  • Use breathing, movement and balance and relaxation to allow recovery from childbirth
  • enjoy complete exercise for the whole body
  • use simple exercises suitable from day one
  • start to re-align your pelvis and restore joint stability
  • tone the deep abdominal muscles
  • use yoga breathing to strengthen your pelvic floor
  • enjoy relaxation with your baby
  • work on relieving stiffness in your shoulders
  • move to gain strength and stamina

Suitable if you haven’t done yoga before. Great for getting ready to return to exercise classes. Suitable if you had a caesarean birth. Newborn to pre-mobile babies welcome.

  • I hour class followed by a cuppa, cake and catch up
